Most of the rainfall occurs in short, intense bursts. The northern and eastern parts of the UAE, particularly the mountainous areas, receive more rainfall than the rest of the country. Fog is also common during winter mornings, especially inland. Shamal winds can still occur during this period, but they are generally less severe than in summer.
Transition Seasons (April & October)
April and October represent the transitional months between summer and winter. These months offer a mix of conditions, with temperatures gradually increasing in April and decreasing in October. Humidity levels also fluctuate during these periods. While the weather is generally more bearable than the peak summer months, it can still be hot, particularly during the afternoons.
